A BLEND of SADNESS and HAPPINESS.

That’s how I felt when we moved from the Newfound Lake area to the Seacoast area this year.

Sadness because woodsy, mountainous, scenic central New Hampshire is a great place to live. Happiness because we moved closer to family, who we cherish spending time with.

We lived near Newfound for more than four years and owned a condo for nine. Now we’re enjoying beautiful scenery in southeastern New Hampshire. We also have easier access to Boston, Maine and many other iconic New England areas.

Starting in late 2016, I took many thousands of photos of Newfound Lake and its environs. My first Newfound collection, posted last year, has 83 of my best images. My second collection has 76. The captions explain where and when they were taken.

I hope you like them as much as I enjoyed lakeside living. Meanwhile, STAY TUNED as I plan to post my top 30 or 50 Newfound images in a third collection.
